I'd already started taking stuff off the walls at this point, but you can at least see the color of the walls before.

We got the paint for free (it was a buy 3 get one free deal at Home Depot), the light fixtures were $20 each, the cabinets were $150 each from HD, accessories and art from random places collected over the years.
Curtains (cream silk) $60 per panel.
The color is Barn Red by Martha Stewart. I hate MS paint. We had to put 3 coats on! The artwork I have is French advertisements from the early 20th century. We put new light fixtures in from Home Depot. I will post some close ups of the details this weekend.
Total cost to paint and do minimal upgrades - $340.
