And for my next trick...

I'm going to need a can of high gloss black spray paint.  My weekend project is to transform the base of these tie backs (the knob part of the ones I have are purple) from bronze to something tolerable, and this necklace holder into something gorgeous.

This jewelery stand isn't available anymore, but I got it on sale at Urban Outfitters. They have several similar ones for decent prices.  It came in a brown color, and that just won't do so off I go to the garage with my can of spray paint!  Wish me luck.
